Marvel Super Hero Captain America Appearance Will Help Raise Awareness of Quality Affordable Health Insurance in New York State and opportunity for on-site enrollment
What: NY State of Health assistors will share information about affordable health insurance and how New Yorkers can shop, compare and determine their eligibility for financial assistance through the NY State of Health marketplace. New this year: New Yorkers will be able to enroll in a health plan on-site, at the tour stop. Marvel Super Hero, Captain America, will join the event for photos and a Marvel Custom Solutions’ coloring pages giveaway.
When: Friday, January 22: 12 noon. – 9 p.m.
Saturday, January 23: 12 noon – 9 p.m.; CAPTAIN AMERICA:12 noon - 3 p.m.
Sunday, January 24: 12 noon- – 6 p.m.
Where: Poughkeepsie Galleria: 2001 South Road, Poughkeepsie, NY
Level one, near DSW and Famous Footwear
At the Sign Up NY mall events, consumers will be able to:
- Get information about the Marketplace
- Learn about financial assistance that may be available
- Make appointments with in-person assistors
- Enroll in a health plan
- Meet Marvel Super Heroes (on select dates)
- Spin the Wheel of Surprise: answer a question about the Marketplace and win a small prize
To sign up onsite, consumers need to bring the following information for each member of the family:
- Birth dates
- Social security numbers or document numbers
- Employment, income and health insurance information
