How can I enroll?

There are three ways to enroll in health insurance through NY State of Health:

Signing up is simple.  Have this information ready for each member of your family:

  • Birth dates
  • Social security numbers or, for legal immigrants, document numbers if you have them
  • Employment, income, and health insurance information


When can I enroll?

When you can enroll depends on which program you are eligible for, which is based on age, income and other factors. 

Enrollment is open all year if you are eligible for:

American Indians and Alaskan Natives can enroll anytime during the year for any NY State of Health program.
