Press Release: NY State of Health Goes to the Movies

Certified Assistors Will Be at “Movies Under the Stars” Events in NYC, Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (June 15, 2018) –  NY State of Health, the state’s official health plan Marketplace, is partnering with New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and venues in Albany to educate families about affordable health insurance coverage at Movies Under the Stars events this summer. Certified enrollment assistors will be available at select movie locations to answer questions about enrolling in a health plan through the Marketplace.

“Partnering with this family-friendly, popular movie series allows us to educate parents and caregivers about low-cost, quality health coverage,” said NY State of Health Executive Director Donna Frescatore. “Our assistors will be on-site to share information about health plans and the enrollment process, all while the kids enjoy the show.”
