“County fairs provide family friendly fun throughout the summer months and are a perfect opportunity to spread the message about the affordable coverage options available through the Marketplace,” said NYSOH Executive Director Donna Frescatore.

“Through NY State of Health, New Yorkers now have access to affordable, quality health care coverage and important primary preventive care for themselves and their families,” said NYSACHO President Dr. Sherlita Amler. “Local health departments are pleased to work with the New York State Department of Health to share information about the marketplace as part of our public health outreach at our county fairs.”

NYSAAF President, Robert D. Simpson said, “We’re pleased to partner with NYSOH, NYSACHO and the Cornell Cooperative Extension to give people the opportunity to learn more about getting affordable health insurance.”
