UHF Roundtable Discussion: Surviving the Unwinding IV - New York State Enters the Homestretch

More than four years after the first declaration of the COVID-19 public health emergency (and a year since the last extension), New York and its government and community partners are entering the homestretch in the massive effort to unwind the continuous coverage provisions for New Yorkers enrolled in Medicaid, the Essential Plan and Child Health Plus. A follow-up to our three earlier convenings, this roundtable will feature an update by key state officials on the latest enrollment data at this critical juncture and a discussion of lessons learned and strategies that could spark a strong finish. Additional details on the agenda will be provided in advance of the meeting. As with past convenings, the roundtable will provide opportunities to hear about the experiences of consumer, provider, health plan, and assistor communities on the ground thus far and plenty of time to discuss the post-Unwind enrollment landscape.

The roundtable will take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 10:15 AM to 1:15 PM at United Hospital Fund – Board Room, 1411 Broadway, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10018 (between West 39th and 40th).
