  • Basic Health Plan Program Amendment

    The Department proposes to submit an amendment to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) of its Basic Health Program (BHP) Blueprint.  The amendment updates Section 1 to reflect the current Designee. The amendment updates Section 3 to reflect the current Trustees and the process for appointing Trustees.

  • NY State of Health Private Pay Home Care Services Pilot Program (Phase Two)

    On May 6, 2022, the Department of Health issued its Phase Two invitation to New York State Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs) to participate in the “NY State of Health Private Pay Home Care Services Pilot Program” in the counties of Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Richmond, Suffolk, and Westchester in 2022. 

  • Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

    Protect yourself and your family. Get Your COVID-19 Booster. The New York State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend individuals 12 and older get the new bivalent COVID-19 booster. All New Yorkers, including children 6 months of age and older, should stay up to date with all recommended vaccine doses. Booster doses will maximize your protection and are free and available statewide. If you have questions, talk to your healthcare provider or vaccine administrator.

  • Basic Health Plan Program Amendment

    The Department proposes to submit an amendment to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) of its Basic Health Program Blueprint.  The amendment updates section 5 to reflect that in April 2021, the state budget establishes a 200 million dollar Essential Plan Quality Pool to promote high quality of care, strengthen provider networks, incentivize providers based on performance, and ensure provider access for all Essential Plan members.

  • NY State of Health Private Pay Home Care Services Pilot Program

    On July 23, 2020, the Department of Health issued its invitation to New York State Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs) to participate in the “NY State of Health Private Pay Home Care Services Program Pilot” in the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester in 2021.
