Over the past few years NY State of Health, New York’s official Health Plan Marketplace, has laid the groundwork to better understand and address existing health inequities in New York.

The following lists indicate which issuers are participating in each county for each health insurance program available through NY State of Health in 2025.

Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act’s continuous coverage requirement, New York State Medicaid, Child Health Plus (CHPlus) and Essential Plan (EP) members have not had to renew their health insurance since early 2020.

The following lists indicate which issuers are participating in each county for each health insurance program available through NY State of Health in 2024.  

The Essential Plan eligibility expansion will take effect April 1, 2024.
