Instructions to Complete Broker Certification Courses
Brokers who wish to sell health insurance through NY State of Health (NYSOH) Marketplace, must be currently licensed by the Department of Financial Services (DFS) and certified by NY State of Health (NYSOH) marketplace.

Broker of Record Designation: Small Business Marketplace
Small group employers may authorize a Broker to work on their behalf in the Small Business Marketplace. This completed and signed Broker of Record letter will need to be uploaded as part of the online Employer Application.

Individuals may authorize a Broker to work on their behalf in the Individual Marketplace. This completed and signed Broker of Record letter will need to be uploaded as part of the online Individual Marketplace Application.
