NY State of Health (NYSOH), the State’s official health plan marketplace, today released county level enrollment data on the nearly 1 million New Yorkers who enrolled in health plans from October 1, 2013 through April 15, 2014. This county level data compliments the state-level data that NYSOH previously released. The earlier report is available here. Zip code level enrollment data is available here.
Producers who wish to sell, solicit or negotiate health insurance through the NY State of Health (NYSOH) Marketplace must complete the certification course(s) offered by the Department of Financial Services’ (DFS) network of approved continuing education (CE) provider organizations. Certification on the Small Business Marketplace (SBM) is a prerequisite for certification on the Individual Marketplace.

On February 14, 2014, New York submitted a Level One application for the federal Exchange Establishment grant. The State received an award of $82.2 million for this grant on May 2, 2014. The project narrative is available below.

On January 13, 2014, NY State of Health released demographic enrollment data on the more than 230,000 New Yorkers who enrolled in health plans through December 24, 2013, the last day to enroll for coverage starting in January 2014. The report is attached here.
