On August 12, 2016, NY State of Health released demographic enrollment data on the more than 2.8 million New Yorkers who enrolled in a health plan through the Marketplace through January 31, 2016, the end of the open enrollment period. On July 29, 2015, NY State of Health released demographic enrollment data on the more than 2.1 million New Yorkers who enrolled in a health plan through the Marketplace through February 28, 2015, the end of the open enrollment period. The data show that enrollment through the Marketplace increased more than two-fold, more than 89 percent of enrollees reported being uninsured at the time of application, enrollment occurred in every county in the state and across all health plan

NY State of Health (NYSOH), the State’s official health plan marketplace, today released county level enrollment data on the nearly 1 million New Yorkers who enrolled in health plans from October 1, 2013 through April 15, 2014. On January 13, 2014, NY State of Health released demographic enrollment data on the more than 230,000 New Yorkers who enrolled in health plans through December 24, 2013, the last day to enroll for coverage starting in January 2014. The report is attached here.

The report outlines the progress and preparedness for the State of New York to begin accepting applications for insurance from individuals and small businesses starting on October 1, 2013 for coverage effective on January 1, 2014.
