UHF Roundtable Discussion: Surviving the Unwinding Part II–Tracking New York’s Effort to Maintain Enrollment After the Continuous Coverage Period

After more than a year of fits and starts, New York’s “Unwinding” – the post-pandemic redetermination of eligibility for more than 9 million New Yorkers enrolled in Medicaid, Child Health Plus and the Essential Plan – has begun in earnest. As a follow-up to the February 2023 roundtable, UHF is convening a second discussion at which key state officials will present early data on the results of the first group of redeterminations, and provide an update on current activities and a refresher course on coverage estimates.  There will also be plenty of time for questions and answers, and for voices from the consumer, provider, health plan and assistor communities to describe their experiences on the ground thus far.

The roundtable will take place on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 10:15 AM to 1:15 PM at United Hospital Fund – Board Room, 1411 Broadway, 12th Floor (b/t West 39th and 40th), New York, NY 10018.
